Delicious Chocolate Pudding from Scratch

Ingredients

1  cup white sugar

6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup cornstarch

1/4 teaspoon salt

5 ½ cups milk

4 tablespoons butter, room temperature

2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

In a saucepan heat the milk over medium heat. While the milk is heating add the sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt. Stir and continue stirring while bringing the mixture to a boil. Cook until the mixture thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla. Let cool or serve warm. Your choice. Enjoy !
