Easy Chocolate Mousse
Ingredients
1 cup chocolate wafers or chocolate chips
2 cups heavy or whipping cream
1 teaspoon Homemade Vanilla
¼ – ½ cup powdered sugar (feel free to use a little less or more depending on how sweet you like it )
Directions
Add the chocolate chips to a microwave safe bowl and heat up in the microwave on 50 % power for 1 minute. Remove from microwave and stir. If the chocolate is not completely melted microwave on 50% power for 20 seconds and stir. Repeat this step until all chocolate is melted when stirred. Be careful not to overheat. Set the melted chocolate aside to cool at room temperature. Once the chocolate has cooled off you can continue with the recipe. In a clean cool bowl beat the whipping cream with an electric mixer until stiff. Add the vanilla and powdered sugar. Mix until well combined. Fold the cooled, melted chocolate into the whipped cream. You can now pipe or spoon the mixture into serving bowls. Refrigerate before serving.
