Smoked Fish Dip
Total Time: about 15 minutes Yield : 10 servings
Ingredients
8 -10 oz smoked fish ( trout, salmon or halibut are my favorites)
8 oz cream cheese 4 oz sour cream
½ teaspoon fresh lemon juice
¼ teaspoon zatarains creole seasoning (season to your liking – you might want to a little more)
2 teaspoons fresh dill or 1 teaspoon dried dill weed 1 teaspoon chopped chives for decoration
Directions
Place the fish on a plate. Using 2 forks flake the fish into pieces. In a medium sized bowl mix the cream cheese, sour cream, lemon juice, dill and zatarains creole seasoning with a handheld mixer until well combined. Stir the fish in the cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate before serving. Serve with crackers, veggies, french bread or even lettuce leaves for a low Carb option.
