Smoked Wings
Smoked Wings
Ingredients
4 pounds chicken wings
salt and pepper to taste
1 can of beer for the smoker
Directions
Pre-heat smoker to 225 degrees. In a heat proof container (I use an aluminum container that I can just throw out when finished ) empty a can of beer. Put the container with the beer in the smoker. I prepare my wings by cleaning them and then cutting the tips off. Season with salt and pepper. Spray smoker rack with non-stick cooking spray. Lay the wings on the rack. We like to use beech wood for many recipes so we used beech. If you have another favorite wood you like to use feel free to use it. Smoke the wings for 2 hours then remove them from the smoker. The wings should have a nice, golden brown color. Heat your grill to 450 degrees. Once your grill reaches the desired temperature put the wings on and grill until they have a nice “grilled color”. Enjoy !
